Michal has been working in managerial and business positions in the financial sector for a long time. For many years, he worked in ČSOB’s corporate business. As part of these roles, in 2006-2009 he managed the issuance of debt securities for the bank’s dealings for large banking clients. As executive director in 2010-2016, he led the Institutional Banking department providing services to financial institutions (banks, insurance companies, stockbrokers, investment companies, investment funds and funds of qualified investors), custody clients and depositories of investment companies and funds. Here he stood at the beginning of the boom in the funds of qualified investors. Between 2016 and 2021, as a Member of the Board of Directors of ČSOB Pojišťovna, he was responsible for the management of all business networks and partners, business support and related departments.
